Meet Cute Monday: The "Anna Army" (Or Three of Them, Anyway)

Remember the Flickr user I told you about when I got my Violet doll? Well, a while ago she had three Anna dolls for sale, all of whom were in pretty ratty shape. Immediately, I decided to get them for OOAK projects and to add to my army of Anna dolls. (I probably have close to 30... I haven't counted in a while and it was over 20 last count!! I could be considered obsessed...)

Meet... Ginny, Annie, and Emma.

They're all first edition Disney Store Anna classic dolls who need a little TLC.

Right now, they're wearing modern clothing I had in my collection that I thought would look nice on them.

Ginny is actually not going to be custom bait for me.

Instead, I'm going to fix up her hair and make her my "play" Anna rather than another "display" Anna. I don't know if she'll wear modern clothes or a movie accurate wardrobe yet.

Ginny's hair is fascinating in its current state, though- is it supposed to be the coronation style?

Annie is going to be customized and ultimately given new clothing, though I'm waiting on a Mattel release for said clothing.

The only factory paint she'll have left when I'm done will be the blush on her ears.

Her hair is a hot mess, but it could potentially be fixable. It will most likely do what I want.

Emma will also be redone and given the dress of an earlier Mattel release Anna doll.

Emma has one of the sweetest faces I've seen on an Anna doll so I will try to use her existing eyes as a basis for any alterations I make. The rest of her factory paint will be removed.

She will either get a reroot or a wig.

Any guesses as to what they're going to be when I'm done?

  3. You are lucky to have so many Anna dolls! They are all so lovely! :) (I have no reason to complain any more, since I have a mini coronation Anna by now) I'm sure your customs are going to be lovely, as well! :) I know I've seen a picture that looked like adult Anna with short hair but I can't find it at the moment :( Emma reminded me of her.

    1. I know; I feel truly blessed to have such a large collection. It took about a year after the movie came out for me to get my hands on even one and now... it is honestly a huge blessing. :D I'm sorry if I came off sounding like I was boasting... I wasn't!!!! Your Anna is adorable... she's actually one of the ones I don't have. I have the minis from the wardrobe sets, so no Hans or Kristoff minis.

They are still in the box but I show them every new post you do. Hazel is interested in every other Anna cousin that exists in this world. :)
Wardrobe is a megic word for all my little girls. They kepp nagging me that I should make clothes. I have some nice fabric for a cape for Phil, my mini Elsa. I'm starting to take over your blogs with my comments and stories :(
