Long ago, in the faraway land of 1997 Mattel factories, there was a golden age of Hercules doll production and extraordinary Megara toys. But one set of the rarest and most elusive of those dolls was the Legends of Love Gift Set.
But what is the measure of their rarity? Now this is where our story begins: a young Hercules collector, avidly awaiting a chance to complete her Hercules doll collection, who was lucky enough to get the Megara from the gift set in near mint condition on eBay.
Lo and behold, many months later, the collector was able to find the Hercules doll from the gift set, as well!
The two were thrilled to reunite.
The different shades of blue in their outfits are just lovely.
The two photograph beautifully together.
I am so thrilled to own these two dolls!
I hope these pictures brighten up your Wednesday!
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
Megara looks great, of course, but I think that's actually the nicest Herc I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Both of their faces have a ton of personality.
DeleteWow, congratulations on your amazing finds!

ReplyDeleteHi. I have this Megara doll from when I was little, and am trying to find out how much to sell her for. Can I ask how much you would say it's worth please?
ReplyDeleteHello! I am sorry this took so long. I've been on quite a hiatus! When I purchased this Meg doll, she cost me around $40. My suggestion would be to look at recently sold listings on eBay to find one in a comparable condition to the doll you are trying to sell. Best of luck!
