The Disneyland 60th Diamond Anniversary Doll

Last Spring, I went to Disneyland for the 60th Anniversary (as you know if you saw this post.) While there, I picked up their celebratory doll (this should shock you.) I can't review her because she'll be staying in her box, but I did get some pictures of her so you can get an in depth look at her box and what she comes with.

We're off to a great start with a picture of... the bottom of my reflector. *Sigh.*

I love how the decades of Disneyland attractions are done in different colors, like a timeline (but fun.)

I think this doll shares a face mold with the classic Snow White dolls. (I also think she looks a little bit like Taylor Swift or Alice in Wonderland.)

Here's Snow (screencapped from the Disney Store website) for reference:

The cool thing about Taylor this doll's clothing is that all of it (sans shoes and jeans) are miniature versions of actual human clothing sold during the 60th anniversary.

Overall, I am very pleased with this doll and glad to add her to my collection of MIB dolls!

  1. I can't believe I didn't know this doll existed! She looks just like Taylor Swift.

    1. She wasn't well publicized and I don't know if she was sold in the Disney Store as well as the parks. It is a rather uncanny resemblance, all things considered...

  2. What a cute doll! Did you pick up a matching shirt or jacket?

    1. Isn't she? No, I decided that having the miniature versions and being able to get other souvenirs was a better idea. I did love the special 60th Mouse Ears, though! The bow was covered in faux jewels. They were very cute, although they didn't come home with me either.
