In Which Surf Rider Goes to the Beach

Over Fall Break, I got to go to the beach! It was too cold to swim, but I brought Surf Rider, my G1 My Little Pony Baby Sea Pony, to get pictures.

At first I was really wary of getting her wet since she's rare(ish) and from the 1980's.

On our exploration, we found some huge rocks covered in seaweed and barnacles.

The sunlight was absolutely stunning!

I'm so glad I have this little mermaid-like pony. She's one of my favorites.

My new header

When I found this little pool, I realized I had to get pictures of Surf Rider under water.

That may have been the best decision I've ever made during a photo shoot.

I kept finding perfect little Surf Rider sized niches in the rocks!

"What would I give if I could live out of these waters... what would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand?" Sorry, I couldn't resist. :P

Getting these pictures was so much fun and I hope you've enjoyed looking at them as much as I did getting them!

Don't worry about her hair; when we got back to my grandmother's I gave her a bath and conditioned her hair - twice - so she's good as new. :)
