Today is the In Store release of the March Frozen LE's. I'm trying to get Anna and Kristoff, and this is going to be my little write-up of how that goes. EDIT: My mother succeeded in getting them!! YAY!!!
7:36 am: Approximately 2 and 1/2 hours until Disney Store opens. No news from Mom as to whether or not spot in line has been secured.

7:45 am: Received text from Mom. She's not in line yet, but she is outside of the mall waiting to be let in.

7:56 am: MOM IS FIRST IN LINE! Nobody else is even there!!!!! About 2 hours to go!

9:14 am: About an hour before the store opens and only one other person is in line. She wants the Elsa.

9:34 am: Now a third woman is in line. She wants them all. We're in! It's official!!!!! 30 minutes 'til Mom can buy 'em, though.

10:33 am: THEY'RE IN THE STORE. Guys, this is happening! This is really happening! These are all 3 Display Dolls:

10:45 am: It's official!!!!!!!!! ANNA AND KRISTOFF ARE MINE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Well, technically, Anna is mine. I won't get Kristoff until my birthday in July... but I think he's certainly worth the wait! I don't have pictures yet but when I do, they'll be up here!

Thank you! For a while, I didn't think I'd be able to get her as the initial rumor said they would be $145. Still, I decided to save some of my Christmas money and babysitting money and when the announcement was made that they were actually $120, I was able to wash a few windows and things like that and I collected the last bit. My grandmother got Kristoff for me, so I don't get to see him until July and (my birthday) comes. :D

DeleteOMG!! I'm so glad you were able to get them! I wasn't able to swing it, but I'm still hoping for some LE dolls in their Frozen Fever outfits. But still, so glad for the people that got this wave! XD
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I am still over the moon. Whenever I see Anna, my train of thought is "Oh, wow, there's that doll I wanted! Wonder if I'll ever get her? Oh, wait... she's mine!!!!!" I would love to see those, though I'd probably pass on those. I'm so thrilled with my LE Anna that I don't really think I need another one, even in another dress. ;) Besides, I have something like 19 other versions of Anna varying from Funko Pop! to singing doll. You could call me obsessed... and you'd be right. Most of my collection nowadays is Anna!
