Hello and Welcome to Doll Wonderland!

Those of you who follow Meg's blog will recognize me as the girl with the collection of Disney dolls that never stops growing, usually with TLC dolls that get partially fixed before the next one comes. No, I still haven't fixed Meg's hair. I'm working on it.

So, this is my space in which I intend to post doll reviews, doll news, maybe some crafty tutorials, and basically just my adventures in doll Wonderland. Let's get started, shall we?

I was very excited this morning to see that the Disney Store had brought back their Frozen dolls- I've been DYING to get my hands on those Classic Dolls since before the movie came out! Every time I'd be this close to getting Anna or Elsa or whomever... BOOM they'd sell out and I'd be left grumbling in my chair. My thoughts on that little Minnie Mouse who keeps popping up asking if you're looking for anything special?

It happened again and again and again. I'd say to myself, "self, just

and keep waiting. You'll get them eventually."

Sure enough, I found Kristoff at a local Disney Store in late July and fell INSTANTLY in love. Those eyes, that smile, he's molded PERFECTLY... Yeah, I do have a giant crush on the character. Don't judge, okay?

I mean, look at him! Awwwwww.... I digress.

Anyway, I managed to score singing Anna on a later trip to the local store and singing Elsa in a surprise restock of just that doll. I also got a small army of Mattel dolls. (I plan to review each of these dolls in turn.) But I still really wanted the other three Classic dolls

And today... THEY WERE BACK! Within ten minutes of the notification email, Anna, Elsa, and Hans were ordered and soon to be on their way.

I guess the real point of this post is to introduce you to my Frozession, (Frozen obsession... get it?) let you know that the dolls are back at the Disney Store, and give you some reviews to look forward to.

Au Revoir!

  1. Haha, I'd say I have a Frozession too. ;-). Congrats on scoring all of the classic dolls and singing Elsa and singing Anna. I saw the singing dolls in my disney store last time I went, and I wanted to see them sing. I got this one Anna behind an Elsa to sing just fine, and then I tried to get that Elsa in front of her to sing. I waved and her, jostled her box, spun her around....no singing. However, every single time I so much as moved Elsa's box one millimeter, Anna started belting 'For the First time in Forever'. LOL. I never did get Elsa to sing, but I heard Anna sing multiple times. ;-). Ok, random story.

Anyways, it's Jan, as in from Snow's blog. Just so you know. :-)

    1. Hello, Jan! Thanks so much... I was over the moon, as you probably gathered from all the gifs. When I went to the store and bought Anna, I couldn't get her to sing at all. The people who worked there said that they kept them all turned off so that they wouldn't have a constant bombardment of singing. Maybe that's why Elsa wouldn't sing? Or... heaven forbid... some little kid had already ruined her battery???? *dies inside at the thought*

  2. I understand that, my journey to get Anna and Elsa was also a hard one. I just realized that the Frozen Fever set not only sold out but completely disappeared from the german DS onlinestore (Yup, my dollies came from Germany)

    1. Oh, wow, you came all the way back here!! I'm impressed! I'm so sorry, I've heard that European stores have a harder time keeping stuff in stock but that is absurd!!!
